The Windmills of Your Mind is a radio show hosted by L.A. based DJ Taylor Rowley (me). From 2003-2019, it broadcasted live on KXLU 88.9 FM every Sunday evening to listeners all over Los Angeles and beyond. Now it streams on NTS Radio every other Thursday from 12pm-1pm PT. You can listen to it here, there, and everywhere.
Besides DJing, I’m also a music supervisor for film and television. I’ve worked on some wonderful projects, which you can read more about here.
I’m 1/3rd of the creative team at EXP TV, a live-streaming television channel broadcasting an endless stream of obscure media and video ephemera.
Other extracurriculars include programming film & music events for Women & Film and Red Bull Music’s Center Channel Film Festival. I’m also a frequent guest on the I’d Buy That For A Dollar podcast.
Whether it’s music or movies, foraging the forgotten past is my deepest passion. I love unearthing buried media treasures, dusting them off, and giving them a place to shine today.
